Before You Apply
Does it really cost nothing?
Yes. There is no tuition and no equipment fee. Our programs are funded by donors, grantors and corporate partners specifically so that cost is never the barrier.
Do I need an honorable discharge?
We review applicants case by case rather than screening on discharge characterization alone. Apply and talk to us.
Do I get to keep the laptop?
Equipment issued through the Veteran IT Pathway is issued to you for your training and job search. Terms are explained in writing before anything is handed over.
Can I do this while working?
Tell us your constraints on the form. Cohort scheduling is one of the things we discuss during your intake call.
Is C4I a mental health provider?
No. We are not clinicians and we do not provide treatment. We provide structure, purpose and peers, and we will help you connect with VA or community care if you want it.
What if I am not a veteran?
YouthTech 5.0 serves young people ages 16–21, and Laptop Relief serves disaster-affected households regardless of veteran status.
