Who We Are
Service Does Not End at Discharge
Veterans leave the military with discipline, clearance-grade trustworthiness and a proven ability to operate complex systems under pressure. What most of them do not leave with is a credential the civilian IT industry recognizes.
C4I Veteran Services Corp exists to supply that missing piece. We train veterans on the same enterprise switching, routing, server and storage equipment they will meet on day one of a real job. We put hardware in their hands at no cost so the learning does not stop when they go home. We introduce them to the IT field so they can find their path, help them enroll in certification programs, and stay with them through mentorship and supportive services. C4I does not issue certifications itself.
The work also supports wellness. For many veterans, structured, hands-on technical work (racking, cabling, imaging, troubleshooting) provides focus and a sense of mission. C4I is not a clinical provider, and we help participants who need care connect with the VA or a community provider.

Our Programs
Three Lines of Effort
Each program stands on its own, and each one feeds the others. Equipment donated for training becomes relief hardware after a storm, and veterans who come through our programs become the mentors in our youth program.

New Corporate Partnership in the Research Triangle
C4I is developing a corporate partnership with a local Research Triangle company that has built a training workspace for veterans and young people.
The workspace gives participants a place to learn the fundamentals of information technology before they begin a certification course. The space is built and ready. C4I is now finalizing the program details and seeking funding to operate it.

The Pathway

Introduce & Train
Initial hands-on IT training built around how service members already learn: structured, standards-driven and practical. It introduces veterans to the field and prepares them to enter certification programs.
Equip
Veterans receive hardware at no cost: laptops, lab equipment and enterprise gear to build with. Learning continues outside the classroom because the lab goes home with them.
Mentor & Support
Mentorship from veterans already working in IT, help enrolling in certification programs, and supportive services. If we do not offer what a veteran needs, we walk with them to find it.
A Message from Our Founder
Hello, my name is Donnell Nichols, and I am the founder and executive director of C4I Veteran Services Corp. I have spent my life in service to others, and I am grateful for the opportunity to help my fellow veterans, no matter what is going on in their lives.
I have fought through trials and tribulations, and there was a time when I wanted to give up. The amazing doctors at the VA hospital, a strong family support network, my service dog, Bennett, and my love of IT gave me a path forward. It wasn’t just one thing. It was a combination of things that lit a path for me in my darkest hour.
