Program 01
The Veteran IT Pathway
An accelerated route from military occupational specialty to a recognized IT credential and a paid role, at no cost to the veteran.
The Problem
The Credential Gap
A signals technician who kept a battalion communicating in the field will be screened out of a network operations job by an applicant tracking system because their résumé does not contain the right three-letter acronym. That is the gap. It is not a capability gap. It is a translation and credential gap, and it is fixable.
The Veteran IT Pathway fixes it in three moves: train against the certification employers actually screen for, put real equipment in the veteran’s hands so the knowledge sticks, and work the employer relationship so a finished certification produces an interview rather than another online application.

Three Phases
Train · Equip · Employ
Train & Certify
Intensive, accelerated IT training paths tailored for military experience. Instruction is structured, standards-driven and paced for adults who already know how to learn under pressure.
- Networking fundamentals through enterprise routing and switching
- Server, storage and virtualization foundations
- Security fundamentals and hardening practice
- Exam preparation for recognized industry certifications
Equip & Deploy
Veterans receive hardware at no cost, laptops, lab equipment and enterprise gear. The lab goes home, so practice does not stop when class ends.
- Laptop issued for coursework and job search
- Home lab components where the training path requires them
- Access to the C4I training floor for rack-level work
- Technical support for issued equipment
Connect & Employ
Direct pipelines to corporate IT partners, with the preparation that turns an introduction into an offer.
- MOS-to-civilian-role résumé translation
- Interview preparation and technical screen practice
- Introductions to hiring partners
- Post-placement check-ins during the first year
Wellness by Design
The Work Itself Is Part of the Treatment
C4I was founded on the observation that repairing and rebuilding enterprise equipment does something for veterans that a waiting room does not. The work is tactile, sequential and unambiguous, a link comes up or it does not. For a veteran managing anxiety, depression or PTSD, that clarity is stabilizing.
We are not a clinical provider and we do not present ourselves as one. What we provide is structure, a peer group of people with the same background, and work that produces a visible result. Participants who need clinical care are encouraged and supported in getting it through the VA or a community provider.
